Complex marketing for a complex product.
After a frustrating round of misfires, this technology solutions provider needed a clear and compelling brand. They also needed a dynamic digital platform for presenting that brand to the world.
Vega's Problem
Vega delivers high-value products and solutions to customers using IBM Enterprise Content Management, which is incredibly complex. The company came to us, looked at our skillset, and said, “We’ll take it all.”
The pressure was on, though. This wasn’t Vega’s first rodeo – several agencies had come and gone simply because they failed to grasp what Vega actually does.
We gotta admit – this is one of the most complex products we have ever marketed, but having completed a full rebrand, fully-responsive website and trade show, we’re confident that we got it.
OOHology's Solution
First came a rebrand for the company, known as Vega ECM Solutions at the time. Through a discovery effort, it was clear that the company had equity, but that most customers just simply knew them as “Vega.” The clear choice was to drop “ECM Solutions” and update the company’s logo and color pallette. Our branding effort concisely identified Vega’s mission (again, not an easy task) and outlined its verticals.
A new fully-responsive website design gave Vega an image as professional as its clientele (the company has worked with over half of Fortune 500 clients). The site features a complex case study module and new white papers which explain exactly what each Vega product does for IBM customers. Amid the website design, we also prepared assets and promotional items for one of the largest trade shows in the industry. In about six weeks we turned out all of the trade show assets, including the video below, in addition to the fully-responsive website.
